European walking day 2007
Published: 23/9, 2007

European walking day 2007 a success in Norway

Near 20.000 people took part in the European walking day in Norway on September 2nd and 9th.

At more than 30 places all over Norway both children and adults could try different activities like hiking, climbing, orienteering, open fire cooking, kayaking, fishing and riding.

The European walking day in Norway (in Norwegian called "Kom deg ut-dagen") is arranged by The Norwegian Trekking Associations local member organisations across the country twice a year – once in the beginning of September and once in the end of February. The arrangements are free and open for all.

"Kom deg ut-dagen" was this autumn arranged for the third time. The next "Kom deg ut-dagen" will be arranged on February the 24th 2008.
