Plats: Pillersee Tal, Österrike.
PillerseeTal, Tyrol, in the neigbourhood of the famous Kitzbüheler Horn
With an average of 6.71 meters of new snow per winter, the PillerseeTal in the Kitzbüheler Alpen can call itself the „snowiest region of Tirol“. Here, where more snow falls than anywhere else in Tirol, guests experience their white wonder. On about 100 km of prepared winter hiking trails, the five towns of the region – Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen, St. Jakob in Haus, St. Ulrich am Pillersee and Waidring – can be hiked and explored. Relax and enjoy the white glittering mountain landscape on easier and more challenging trails in the valley and on the mountain. The region‘s huts and inns invite you to take culinary breaks with their delicacies on the sunny terraces. For those who do not want to fit into the given program, but like to hike with a guide, the region‘s hiking guides can accompany guests on the hike and also stories about the region.
