The marking of footpaths have been intensive in the last few years. A network of some 32 trails exist and another 5 are planned, giving access to a wide variety of walking possibilities. Most of the routes have their own map and guide. The country is now being mapped at a scale of 1:50 000, starting with more popular areas. In the meantime the Ordnance Survey offers 1:126 720 maps for the other parts.
