In Portugal at the moment the E9 sections in better conditions are in the south:
– Santiago do Cacém – Cape St. Vincent
“GR 11 – E9 Vicentine Route – Historical Way” (this is a “Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe”.
– Cape Saint Vincent – Alcoutim
“GR 13 Via Algarviana” there is a boat connection in Alcoutim to Sanlúcar de Guadiana in Spain.
