The extraordinary General Meeting was convened online on 14 February 2024 due to the written request for an Extraordinary General Meeting of ¼ of the ERA full members regarding a new approval of the ERA constitution.
ERA has been informed by the tax office in Germany, Kassel, that some statements in our constitution are not in line with the rules for granting us charity status. They have suggested a change which ERA has prepared together with its German tax advisor.
The proposal of the completion of the ERA constitution referred directly to the Constitution in its legally binding (German) version as submitted to the German Register Court. These changes were reflected accordingly in the translations into the other two languages as well.
