The ITB is the world’s leading travel trade show and provides a unique opportunity to learn about different countries and regions all over the globe in one place.
On 7 March 2023, the official hand-over of the certificate for the LQT-BE, Region Éislek was held at the ITB. It was awarded by the ERA president Boris Mićić to Tim Schnelke, the Project Manager Leading Quality Region Éislek, with the kind presence of the Luxembourgish Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Minister for Tourism, Mr. Lex Delles, and of the Ambassador of Luxembourg in Berlin, Mr. Jean-Paul Senninger.
It is the first region certified and guarantees a perfect hiking experience. Whether it’s a day trip with friends or family, a complete hiking vacation without changing accommodation, or a multi-day tour with a lot of luggage. The quality criteria of Leading Quality Regions meet the highest standards in terms of trails, hosts, service and tourist information. Anyone who has ever been to a quality region will consider the Leading Quality Region certification a “must” when choosing a region for vacation.
