Update on the Eurorando 2021 event

Dear Eurorando Friends,

This is an update regarding the Eurorando 2021 event.
As scheduled, Eurorando 2021 will take place between the 26th of September and the 3rd of October 2021, in Sibiu Romania, followed by the 2022 event, which will occur between the 11th and the 18th of September 2022.
As we estimate that, because of the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of participants at this year’s event is going to be slightly lower than at previous Eurorando editions, we would like to assure you that the event is going to take place, even if we don’t reach the usual minimum of 500 participants.

Considering the above, we will extend the registration deadline for both groups and individuals as follows: group bookings can be made until the 1st of July 2021 and individuals can register until the 15th of August 2021. If you decide to cancel your booking, you will be two options available:

  1. You will receive a full refund of the amount paid (according to cancellation policy)
  2. You have the possibility to postpone your registration made for 2021 to the Eurorando 2022 event under the same conditions.
Additionally, we have worked out a more flexible cancellation policy. Consequently, groups cancelation can be done free of charge until the 1st of August 2021 and individual cancelation until the 25th of September 2021.

In order for us to make sure that everyone will enjoy a safe and pleasant Eurorando, we are developing a detailed COVID-19 protocol for this year’s edition, for which we are taking into consideration all global regulations, guidelines and rules regarding COVID-19. As we are aware that the situation may change at any given time, even on short notice, we will be constantly updating all measures in compliance with the legal requirements and will be working in close coordination with the local and national authorities.

You will find all the information on our website.
As general measures of precaution during the event, we are looking into applying these simple rules:
• Wearing masks, depending on official requirements, for all people in crowded event area or indoor spaces
• Physical distancing whenever necessary
• Hygiene principles such as regular cleaning, hand washing and disinfection
• Temperature checking on a daily basis
• Anyone who experiences symptoms of illness before the start of a day will be asked to stay at the hotel.

Please note that, in Romania, the immunization process through vaccination has started December 2020. The vaccines used in this campaign are provided by AstraZeneca, Pfizer-Biotech and Moderna and, as of the 26th of April 2021, over 3 million Romanians were already vaccinated with at least one dose of the before mentioned vaccines.
The Romanian Ministry of Health is planning to have over 10 million people vaccinated by the end of July 2021, meaning that over 60% of the country’s total population (percentage calculate excluding children under the age of 18) should be immunized by that point.
We hope that these updates are helping you to get a better overview of Eurorando 2021, but if you have additional questions or requests, we are here for you, available at any time under info@eurorando.eu

We promise to keep you informed on a monthly basis on any news and updates regarding Eurorando and are looking forward to welcoming you to Sibiu.
