A combined LQT course was conducted in Flanders, Belgium 12-14 December 2023.
The course was a combination of Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe and the Quality Day Walk.
Visit Flanders took the initiative to organise the workshop since there were various partners interested. Several provincial tourist organisations as well as regional landscapes and some of the new National Parcs participated.
Day 1, theoretical training
It was the first time this combined course is conducted. The purpose is to train trail Scouts in both variants of the Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe.
The teachers were Liane Jordan from Deutscher Wanderverband Service and Steen Kobberø-Hansen from ERA.

After this course, the first course in Denmark and the light course conducted in Portugal on 11. December 2023, we expect many new Quality Day Walk to be certified in 2024. Good luck to you all.
