Each episode covers the story of a specific place or historical event and is carefully designed, featuring a rich soundtrack and several format possibilities, including interviews, portraits, anecdotes, and letters to narrate the stories of the war. A host introduces each storyline as they walk the Liberation Route, meeting with historians, museum professionals, eyewitnesses, and more whilst visiting key remembrance sites.
